The core capability requirements for this role are:
- Lead and coordinate a team of telecommunications specialists in telecommunications services including the triple-zero telephone environment.
- Coordinate and provide high level technical expertise in the management of customer telephony accounts and invoices for operational areas within QPS inclusive of service changes, resolution of porting issues and disconnections.
- Coordinate logging, monitoring, and reporting/rectification of faults, new accounts, moves and changes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Oversee the establishment and maintenance of telephone electronic billing system (Infoview) and ordering and processing of telecommunications requests.
- Assist in the co-ordination, compilation and implementation of minor telephone projects, monthly and other reports.
Mandatory requirements apply and must be provided to the panel. Applicants must possess:
- An Advanced Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunications or equivalent trade qualification; and
- An Australia Communications Media Agency Cabling Licence or equivalent or confirm commitment to obtain required licence.
This position is required to participate in an after-hours on call support program.
