About the Role
Reporting to the Test Team Lead, the purpose of this role is to evaluate computer hardware and software following the build/development phase to ensure that it meets specific technical and business requirements. You will identify and rectify errors that have been overlooked during the developmental phase, thereby ensuring that the product works efficiently.
The Senior Test Analyst role will support both operational and project activities as and when required. This role may require you to participate in an on-call roster.
Be part of impactful outcomes as you will:
- Plan and develop a Test Plan for the Project
- Design system, integration, performance and user-acceptance tests
- Review test cases to ensure scope and functional coverage
- Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts
- Perform and document the results of each test cycle and produce reports to summarise findings where relevant
- Liaise with the software development and/or project team as needed for test formulation and defect resolution
- Monitor, track, and report on system defects; verify defect resolution when implemented
- Coach and mentor other team members in industry best practice methodologies

About You
You have a passion for detecting and solving problems and an eagle-eye for detail along with the ability to see the overall picture. You can work well in a team, follow management instructions, and easily adapt to change. You possess efficient planning skills and an ability to adhere to deadlines.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of five years' experience in the field of testing
- In-depth knowledge of software development and superb analytical skills
- Experience in test techniques and programming
- Experience and working knowledge of test automation tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, SoapUI, Selenium etc.
- Experience and ability to work with different project methodologies like Waterfall, Hybrid, Agile etc.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related technical discipline.
Desirable
- Desirable - ITIL Foundation Training
- Desirable – Working experience with CI/CD processes
- Prior WA health application testing experience (highly desirable)
