ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Traffic Engineer in a initial 6 month contract you will request traffic investigations, prepare items for Traffic Committee, organise and manage traffic surveys and maintain database for traffic incidents and accidents, ensure that requests on traffic matters are processed promptly in accordance with performance targets.
DUTIES.
- Assess traffic impact of Development Applications
- Undertake investigation and preparation of report and estimates regarding traffic matters
- Mentor and train Junior Staff to implement Traffic Management plans
- Liaise with internal and external Stakeholders including TFNSW
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering or relevant qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Traffic Engineer
- Local Government experience is desirable
- Solution driven to undertake investigation and assessment of traffic related issues
