Create impact as a Senior Liability Underwriter
Join the largest insurance group in Australia and New Zealand.
Your Role
As a Senior Liability Underwriter, you'll work across our Intermediated Insurance Australia (IIA) Division to determine the acceptability, conditions and pricing of routine moderate to complex insurance risks and agree on coverage within business strategy, risk appetite, regulatory requirements, product offerings and designated authority level.
You'll be responsible for applying underwriting strategy with respect to target markets and accounts and underwrite routine liability insurance risks.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in Sydney.
About You
- Proven current knowledge of general insurance industry, as demonstrated in involvement in trade and industry.
- Solid experience operating as an Underwriter.
- Knowledge and familiarity working within the insurance legal and regulatory environment.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Pricing and Portfolio Management.
- An insurance qualification e.g. ANZIIF Cert IV or in the process of working towards.
- Previous Liability Underwriting experience.
