Senior Underwriter - Property

Our client is a leading insurer in the Australian market who have experienced a growth phase. Due to this expansion, they are seeking a highly experienced Senior Property Underwriter to join their close knit team of experts.
As the Senior Property Underwriter you will:
- Underwrite a complex risk portfolio of commercial property, mining and high net worth risks.
- Act as referral point for underwriters and assistants.
- Lead, mentor and train underwriters on property product.
- Build and maintain broker relationships in the WA market.
- Attend broker visits and functions when required.
- Other administrative tasks required by the business.

You will need:
- At least 5 years of commercial property underwriting experience
- Underwriting experience in mining is advantageous
- Demonstrated broker network in Perth, WA
- Outstanding written and verbal communication
- Ability to build relationships
