Senior UX Product Designer

$130,000 to $170,000 plus Super and benefits.

Establish a UX Capability from Scratch - set the direction for a product-led company transformation.

Innovate at the Forefront of Zero-Emissions Transport - Use your design skills to accelerate the world towards a sustainable future.

Collaborate with the Brightest Minds in Sustainability.

EVenergi, the makers of the BetterFleet product suite, is on a mission to accelerate the global transition to zero-emissions transport, creating a better future for everyone.

200+ complex fleets across the Asia Pacific, Northern American and European markets are relying on our leading expertise for their transition. We offer both consultancy services and a product suite to help customers plan, implement and manage the daily operations of their transport fleets and networks.

We’ve recently closed off a series-A funding to fast track our growth, product innovation and hire talent like you!

Your next masterpiece

Unlike any other design role, you will be provided with a blank canvas to paint your next masterpiece on. Partnering with the Head of Product, you will be a key driver in the company's transformation into a product-led company. On our journey to become a product-led company, how we design our products will be foundational to our future success, from delighting customers, attracting new customers, and enabling our product to scale as we enter new markets and verticals. If this sounds scary, challenging and fun it’s probably because it is!

We’ll give you a taste of the activities that you’ll be doing when you start, which will probably evolve over time:

  • UX & Interaction design - Develop great user journeys, mock-ups, prototypes, storyboards, and presentations to effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Design end-to-end experiences from concept to pixel-perfect to help us build beautiful features and products that delight customers running critical operations.
  • Drive obsession over user centricity and usability. Guide our company with design thinking, user-centricity and tie back usability improvements to customer value delivery and impactful outcomes.
  • Collaboratewith passionate (and some of the smartest) people in the zero-emission domain globally. You'll work with Engineers, Product Managers, PhDs, Marketers and Analysts.
  • Strategy & Vision - Actively contribute to the product strategy and vision for the future of our product suite as we scale across markets and in the world's largest fleets.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Strong UX/Product Design Experience: 5-10 years of experience with a portfolio that showcases your journey through user-centred design, interaction and visual design, idea generation, and product sense.
  • Expertise in B2B: Have a background in designing complex, enterprise-level software, understanding the nuances of B2B environments.
  • Design Systems Savvy: Excel in identifying and crafting common components to support a broad spectrum of customer use cases, enhancing the overall user experience.
  • Balanced Decision-Making: Show how you have balanced customer needs with business goals, technical feasibility, and speed to market, making pragmatic decisions that drive success.
  • Results driven: Experience measuring usability and product improvements with qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Effective Communication: Exhibit your ability to communicate effectively, articulating design decisions and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Australian East Coast Presence: Be located on the Australian East Coast (ideally Sydney), ready to collaborate with our dynamic team.

What’s in it for you?

  • Flexible working, remote and/or hybrid, whatever works best for you!
  • Generous leave entitlements, including volunteer and community leave.
  • We offer equity packages; we want our success to also be yours.
  • Health and wellbeing allowance, with the freedom to choose where you spend it.
  • Learning, career growth and development opportunities.
  • Collaborative team environment, partnering closely on a day-to-day basis.
  • A diverse culture where we celebrate our people and their unique perspectives.
  • The opportunity to make a real difference in the fight against climate change!

Our Values

  • Eco Active: Passionately improving the environment.
  • Clear & Transparent: Honest communication internally and externally.
  • Transformative: Pioneering industry transformation.
  • Empathetic: Understanding and valuing our customers and team.

We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences to join our team, as we believe that a variety of perspectives and skills strengthen our ability to innovate and solve problems. Equal opportunity is at the core of our values, and we encourage candidates from underrepresented groups to apply.
