The Opportunity
We are looking for a talented Senior UX/UI Designer with experience designing for IOS and Android, to deliver exceptional design for HBF's Digital assets.
In this role, you'll be able to create a lasting impact by helping solve complex design challenges for over 1.1 million members across Australia. As a Senior designer in an agile squad, you will be responsible for engaging with stakeholders, conducting competitor analysis, wireframes and user flows, and working closely with the product owner and the delivery team from problem definition and prioritisation to delivery.
You will create prototypes and work closely with our UX researchers to test hypotheses, validate concepts, and translate insights into optimised designs.
You have great collaboration skills and are the end-user advocate in your team, have high design standards with great attention to detail, are experienced in designing native mobile apps, and are constantly looking for opportunities to reduce friction, enhance the member experience, while driving value to the organisation.

About the role
- Deliver new or improved designs across all/any HBF customer stack tech assets.
- Continuously iterate and improve on established design solutions based on evidence and proven design principles and methods.
- Design user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mock-ups to prototype for concept and user testing.
- Translate research insights and business requirements into intuitive digital experiences.
- Employ user-centred design practices to ideate, elaborate design and deliver digital design solutions across any HBF digital sales and service mediums (mobile, tablet, desktop, iOS, Android, email, web app, dashboard, intranet).
- Design creative assets to support new functionality, enhancements, and optimizations across HBF's digital channels.
- Experience in design of iOS, Android, web applications.
- Experience with motion design and interactive prototypes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design.
- Portfolio showcasing your UX/UI design work.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, XD, etc.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus.
