In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our Business Partner Master data records in accordance with company policies and directives. This position offers the opportunity to work 2 days a week from our CBD office location.Why the role mattersAs a Senior Master Data Officer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining Origin Energy’s Master Data integrity, particularly in relation to the Business Partner Master Data File. Your duties will extend beyond mere record-keeping to providing essential support across various functions of the Master Data Governance team. From daily monitoring of payment approvals to ensuring compliance with data cleansing principles, your contributions will be instrumental in upholding our standards of excellence. Your responsibilities will include:

• Checking payment approval exceptions every day and making sure all manual payment requests have proper approval before payments are released.
• Verifying all supplier records, including bank accounts and ABN checks, with sufficient evidence.
• Keeping Directives, on-line learning materials and work instructions current
• Providing customer service to internal and external contacts in a timely and professional way
• Finding areas for improvement and suggesting solution

What will you bring?We are seeking individuals with a passion for mature technologies and an innate ability to navigate complex data ecosystems. Your proficiency in S4HANA and Ariba Integration, coupled with your analytical acumen, will be invaluable assets in this role. Moreover, your exceptional communication skills and proven track record of maintaining data integrity will set you apart as a key contributor. You will also demonstrate:

• Experience with S4HANA in context of vendor and customer data management.
• Understanding of Ariba Integration process for suppliers
• Knowledge of the procurement process and delegated authority concepts
• Commitment to high quality customer service
• Make clear and concise decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organisational skills
• Effectively manage time and prioritise work.
• Previous use of financial applications within an ERP system

Experience in a Finance role within a large organisation, preferably with exposure to Purchasing Approval Hierarchies and Business Partner Master Data Management will be desirable.So why join us?
