About the Role

Due to our continued success, we have exciting opportunities for Senior WHSE Advisors to join our team on various construction projects located across Australia. Some of your key functions will include;

  • Support the Corporate WHSE Manager and Project WHSE Manager to identify any gap in systems and procedures
  • Facilitate project risk assessments and reviews
  • Passionate about positive change, behavioural safety, and safety differently
  • Take ownership of site suite of WHSE documentation
  • Ensure incidents and injuries are fully investigated and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence
  • Interpret safety data, identifying trends and take a proactive approach to solving any issues
  • Be a strong influencer and communicator, building capacity within the site operational leaders to enable them to foster the desired safety culture
  • As a Senior, provide guidance and support to WHSE Advisors
  • Be highly visible on site, prioritising interactions / observations to engage our employees and contractors in Monford safety programs
  • Ensure safe project delivery
  • Annual Salary of $130,000 - $150,000 per annum plus superannuation


About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;

  • Hold a relevant Bachelor Degree or have at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Be able to demonstrate thorough knowledge of WHSE legislation
  • Be self-motivated and hard-working with an eagerness to do the job to the best possible standard, with proven skills in organisational safety and business transformation
  • Be adaptable to new technology as MFG strives to go paperless
  • Be willing to work a 3/1 roster
