About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Zoologist with consulting experience and a passion for biodiversity. This position is fully flexible, with flexible full-time hours and days, with the ability to work from home, remotely or from the office, with field work incorporated.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected and knowledgeable team as well as being responsible for:
- Leading and managing high quality zoological surveys and assessments;
- Undertaking a range of baseline (basic, detailed and targeted) and monitoring projects throughout Western Australia;
- Provision of survey reports, management plans and advice to clients, regulators and other stakeholders;
- Working with and assisting in the development and implementation of innovative approaches to vertebrate fauna sampling and monitoring;
- Coordinating field work, budgets and milestones with the team to meet project requirements;
- Mentoring and coaching co-workers and other Zoologists.
