The Opportunity
You will act as the first point of contact for all prospective and current students via phone, email and face to face communications, providing critical support and engagement outcomes for the University. As a member of the Service Centre team, you will act as part of the “front of house team” providing enquiry management for staff and visitors to UniSC Caboolture, through professional and meaningful communications.
You will
- effective management of student matters received via phone, email and face to face inquiries;
- proactive referral of students to relevant specialist staff and follow up if required; and
- establish and maintain effective relationships with students, staff and clients through professional communications and efficient use of electronic records systems.
About you
You possess excellent communication skills, with the capacity to show empathy, resolve conflicts and maintain confidentiality. Additionally, you enjoy working collaboratively with your internal and external stakeholders to build strong working relationships.
You will possess:
- An Associate Diploma, combined with experience in a customer focused environment, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education, and training.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to recognise and respond appropriately to a range of student’s inquiries.
- A high level of digital literacy including experience with CRM systems.
- An understanding of the challenges that might arise supporting students in distress.
