Environmental Location Systems has been locating and tracing underground utilities for over 20 years and we are the pioneers in this unique industry.
We work closely with the general public, construction site managers, project managers and councils, therefore the ability to build a good customer rapport and a clean & tidy appearance is required along with the ability to work out complicated underground networks.
YOUR DAY STARTS HERE:Reporting to the Operations Manager utilising your exceptional customer service skills, you'll be able to navigate the works area with a focus on Safety, Environmental and Quality.
Liaising with our already extensive client list, you'll determine a scope of works and locate all locatable underground assets, delivering to the client, a full understanding of the underground network in their scope of works.
A walk through and demonstrated understanding of what's happening with every asset listed on DBYD information and MOCs is critical to our continued standard of client focus.
All Service Locators employed by ELS have a sound understanding of Utility owners codes of conduct and Australian Standard as well as a thorough understanding of BYD data.
This knowledge it to be conveyed to our Client for every job at the completion of works.
ROLE:Fulltime - Monday to Friday with Overtime additional. Night shift when required and weekend work when available.
REQUIRED (ESSENTIAL)BYD Certification (or the ability to pass certification upon commencement)
High Level experience in underground networks and extensive plan reading.
High Level electromagnetic UTILITY LOCATOR use and experience
Ground Penetration Radar use and experience
Drivers Licence
NULCA course or Telstra (*APL).
DESIRABLE
Concrete Scanning experience.
Rail Awareness training (RIW)
Understanding of traffic management requirements.
