Service Manager
CPG is looking for an energetic Service Manager to take on the responsibility of supervising the day to day activities of our workshop and field service activity. Leading by example you take pride in quality workmanship, enjoy directing your team to perform at their best and love working with people, building long term relationships internally and externally.

Workshop/Job Control
- Supervise and direct the workshop and field service teams to efficiently deliver high quality workmanship and customer service excellence.
- Manage all aspects of workflow including (but not limited to) quotes, invoicing and follow up.
- Pre-plan workflow and deploy a daily prioritised work schedule to your service teams to ensure on time delivery. Set, monitor and review the service work schedule.
- Work collaboratively with the parts department to ensure internal processes are seamless and a positive working relationship is established.
- Value and build strong relationships with customers, ensuring repeat business and positive word of mouth marketing.
- Monitor and review workshop/maintenance operations to ensure CPG, OHS, Quality and Environmental policies are adhered to.
- Excellent administrative skills with at least 2+ years experience.
Experience
- Qualifications in a related field or equivalent experience supervising in an industrial environment.
- Experience within the Marine Commercial/industrial/mining/generator application an advantage.
- At least 3 year’s experience at a supervisory level.
- Experience in heavy duty diesels highly regarded.
- Sound computer skills, able to use Word and Excel and the ability to learn our operating system ERA/Pentana Solutions.
- Written communication – ability to prepare work quotes, reports and job instructions.
- Attention to detail, strong administrative skills.
- Thorough working understanding of Health and Safety best practice and legislation.
The ability to pass a pre-start medical, drug and alcohol test, and the right to work in Australia are all required.
