About us
Anglicare’s Home and Community service offers a range of supports and assistance to enable our older population to live their best lives in their own homes.
About the role
We currently have Service Support Worker positions available to service clients across
Maryborough area. Our workers provide invaluable support by providing general household cleaning, laundry, cooking and social support to our older population with help around their homes.
There are plenty of opportunities for you to advance in this growing industry.
About You
We are looking for applicants that have:
Experience in cleaning
Comfortable in the use of housekeeping equipment
Able to follow domestic care plans
Clear communicator who can maintain professional boundaries with clients and their families
Demonstrated ability to be able to work independently and effectively with the elderly
Physically fit, reliable, enthusiastic and friendly
A Certificate II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) will be highly regarded but not required
The following will be required of successful applicants:
Current Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle
A current National Police Certificate
Tetanus and Hepatitis B shots (or willingness to obtain)
