We're on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join our clients team as a Service Technician - Air Compressors. It is a field based role and you will be provided a great base salary plus super, work vehicle, fuel, tolls, tablet and phone and you can use the work vehicle for local personal use. Ideally some experience servicing and maintaining Air Compressors would be great but full training will be provided for the right candidate who has a strong mechanical background. You will be servicing clients across Brisbane but being located in the inner city or western or southern suburbs of Brisbane would be ideal. Description
Position Overview
As a Service Technician - Air Compressors, you'll play a pivotal role in the service and maintenance operations, ensuring customer equipment is repaired efficiently minimizing downtime.
Key responsibilities include
- Service and maintain customer Air Compressors both preventative maintenance and breakdown work
- New installation of customer Air Compressors on client sites
- Fault find and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Record completed work including labour and materials/parts used
- Utilizing computer systems to identify parts and equipment effectively.
Profile
Qualifications and Experience
- Ideally a mechanical trade either Mechanical Fitter, Light Vehicle Mechanic or Refrigeration Mechanic
- Previous experience with servicing Air Compressors is ideal but not essential (Full Training Provided)
- Electrical Licence or Restricted Electrical Licence would be advantageous
- Strong customer service skills as the role is client facing
- Forklift ticket is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and a mature, reliable work ethic.
- Basic computer skills to record completed job information and look up parts
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
Job Offer
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum based on experience.
- Superannuation contribution of 11%.
- Work vehicle, fuel, tolls, tablet and phone provided and you can use the vehicle for local personal use
- Product Training Provided if required

- Monday to Friday role with an early finish on Fridays.
