Based out of our warehouse in Keysborough, join our team as a Service Technician and become the ultimate problem-solving rockstar! You'll be part of our Phone Technician team, keeping the groove going with customer technical support at our Head Office plus travel the country, installing and maintaining our automated spray tanning booths with flair when the need arises.
What You'll Do:
- Perform installations and repairs, following our detailed procedures
- Train the salon staff the cool tricks of using our equipment and how to keep it running smoothly
- Proactively follow up with our key customers to keep them happy
- Manage your schedule of onsite tasks like a true pro
- Tune in to technical problems and find the perfect solutions
- Keep the rhythm going with managing spare parts for service and installs
- Follow our company's procedures and protocols diligently, ensuring accurate and engaging reporting to effectively communicate your findings
- Listen closely to customer needs and make the perfect recommendations
- Keep the vibe positive with our customers, building and maintaining great relationships
- Bring your own ideas for product improvements based on your experiences
- When you're not on the road, responding and providing solutions via daily calls and emails
- Other job responsibilities as assigned
What You'll Need:
- 2+ years of field service & technical support experience
- High school degree or equivalent
- Willingness to travel 60%+ and be available for after-hours calls and emails
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service equipment
- Ability to work remotely, manage time well, and adapt to changing work schedules
- Ability to write reports on product issues
- High attention to detail
- Excellent critical thinking & problem solving skills
- Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
- Sensitivity to customer needs
- Confidence and professionalism to interact with customers and technicians over the phone and in person
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, etc.) and the Windows environment
- Current driver’s license & vehicle
