The Role: As a Technical Service and Commissioning Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless commissioning and servicing of security, access control, CCTV, intercom, fire, and emergency help systems across various commercial projects. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will be an integral part of an experienced team, focusing on detail and excellence in every task.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of security systems and associated equipment.
- Conduct preventative, corrective, and project works efficiently.
- Manage project hand-overs and ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain documentation and adhere to industry regulations and best practices.
- Participate in an on-call service roster for after-hours and emergency requirements.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication, training, and service delivery.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Current and valid WA Driver’s Licence.
- WA Security Installer and Consultant License.
- Open Cabling Registration from a recognised national provider.
- WA Construction induction (White Card).
Desirable:
- Australian National Police Check (issued within the last 24 months).
- Elevated Work Platform License.
- WA High Risk Work License.
- Endorsements and inductions for core products/systems.
Qualities & Competencies:
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with key products and systems in the trade.
- Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service ethic and professional presentation.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Effective handling of customer and supplier enquiries.
- Capability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
