About the Role:
Based in Katherine, we have an opportunity for an experienced Mechanic to work in a field based resident role.
This varied roles will see you working on world class John Deere & Construction equipment & be supported by our Darwin branch.
We are keen to chat candidates that have prior experience of performing basic & complex diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance on heavy machinery.
You will get the opportunity to work on:
- Tractors, Combine Harvesters & Sprayers
- Graders, Skid Steers, Excavators, Backhoes
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
- Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Previous experience of engine overhauls and major repairs including electrical, hydraulic and diagnostic skills.
- A current and valid driver's licence
- A mature attitude and logical and methodical approach to your work which will enable you to work through problems in both a workshop and field environment.
- Possession of high-risk work tickets and/or licenses would be highly regarded
