Serviceman / Trades Assistant

About the role
Our Workshop is looking for a Serviceman or Trades Assistant to join the Maintenance Team. 

Located in Wellcamp, just outside of Toowoomba, means this position will see you be home every night, working predominately Monday-Friday and receiving a competitive flat hourly rate in a diverse role within the heavy machinery industry close to home.

We are looking for candidates that have a "get in and get it done" attitude, with the experience to back it up. You might be a mechanically minded Trades Assistant, or experienced in servicing and maintaining construction equipment. For the right candidate, we will support whatever this looks like for you.

• Flexible work hour arrangements available.
• Working on a wide variety of heavy equipment such as trucks, trailers, earthmoving gear and crushers (just to name a few);
• Ensuring all re-fueling, greasing and routine maintenance tasks are undertaken in accordance with manufacturer and internal standards/procedures;
• Assisting the mechanics with breakdowns, repairs and maintenance;
• Ensuring compliance requirements are adhered to, such as documenting all repair and maintenance information.

Wellcamp Business Park is a self-sustaining commercial centre for a diverse and integrated business park supporting industries such as aviation, transport, manufacturing, commodity processing and warehousing and distribution.

The Business Park is home to Wellcamp Airport, Corporate Offices and Civil Construction sites, whilst servicing numerous external company facilities within the precinct. 

Our Workshop supports the Maintenance team in delivering projects through works including trench excavation, bulk earthworks, road construction, installations and landscaping.

About You

• Mechanically minded individuals
• Experience with heavy road transport, earthmoving and other mobile plant & equipment 
• Manual car license 
• Forklift ticket and/or truck licence highly regarded
