- Identifies new areas and opportunities and works with internal stakeholders to translate this into delivered value.
- Manage and coordinate all ServiceNow upgrades, releases, patches and hot fixes across all Hydro Tasmania's ServiceNow environments and ensure these are kept up to date.
- Configure and manage third-party integrations within ServiceNow.
- Design and develop business rules, client scripts, UI actions, form sections, notification events to meet business requirements in ServiceNow.
- Design and develop new catalogue items, forms, workflows and content pages to accommodate and maintain Service Catalogue.
- Provide general application and administrative support of ServiceNow.
- Follow Change process to implement changes, enhancements and bug fixes in ServiceNow.
- Create and schedule reports from applicable modules within ServiceNow.
- Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline
- At least 3-5 years experience in a ServiceNow Developer role
- Experience with development and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM and SPM modules.
- Experience with extending the ServiceNow schema to custom applications.
- Experience in one (or more) scripting languages: JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell, Windows Shell).
- Experience with relational databases (e.g. SQL).
- Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs - all scripted aspects of the ServiceNow system.
- Experience in managing software assets and reporting in Software Asset Management
- module in ServiceNow.
- Experience with ServiceNow client and server-side Javascript and the ServiceNow APIs.
- Experience with ServiceNow's ServiceWatch and/or Discovery tools.
- Experience in creating dashboards, report on KPIs and metrics using ServiceNow's performance analytics.
