The company
Our customer, a large not for profit organisation with offices in Parramatta, are willing to grow their internal ServiceNow practice and are therefore on the lookout for a Senior ServiceNow Developer with strong skills across ITSM, ITOM and Virtual Agent modules to join their friendly and professional team.
The role
Reporting to the ServiceNow Platform Manager, you'll join the internal ServiceNow team and bring your expertise across ServiceNow development, ITSM, ITOM, HRSD and VA modules. You'll also advise on best use of the platform and take part in new modules implementation projects.
Part of your main responsibilities:
- Work closely with the business units, change manager and subject matter experts to deliver ServiceNow solutions aligned with the organisation's roadmap
- Build and configure custom solutions on the ServiceNow Platform, including process, estimation, design and development
- Work on improvements and implementation of product releases by working with the BAU team and SME’s to design data, system and functional changes
- Work on integration with other business applications
- Contribute to the implementation of a Centre of Excellence - frameworks, processes, standards, guidelines, best practices, etc.
- Work on new modules implementation projects, such as Asset Management and Virtual Agent.
- Liaise with 3rd party providers and vendors
- Assist with 3rd level operational support when required
Required skills & experience
- 5+ years of development experience in ServiceNow
- Solid experience in application development frameworks, test driven development, mocking tools and code coverage
- Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, Service Request/ catalogue, Employee Center/ Portal, HRSD and Virtual Agent capabilities
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Experience working in Agile Scrum environments
- Previous exposure to Azure Cloud highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience working on Software integration
- Experience in performance tuning and code profiling
- Relevant Industry certifications such as ServiceNow developer certification (CAD) highly regarded
