The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Servicepersons to join the Thiess maintenance crew at Pembroke Resource's Olive Downs Complex.
Pembroke Resource's Olive Downs Complex is a greenfield project located 40 kilometres South-East of Moranbah which commenced mining operations mid-2023. Thiess has recently been awarded a five-year contract to deliver full-service mining operations, including mine planning overburden removal, drill and blast, load and haul (autonomous), water management and rehabilitation as well as the construction of the mine infrastructure.
About The Role

Working a 7/7 day/night shift roster you will be required to:
- Service heavy earthmoving equipment in both the field environment and within workshop when required
- Maintain the plant safely and efficiently in order to meet site maintenance schedules.
- Conduct refuelling operations and assist fitters where required
- Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times
- General workshop duties
As a successful applicant, you'll be a high-achieving safety-focused individual who enjoys delivering results in a dynamic environment. Your attention to detail coupled with your commitment to delivering high-quality work will also ensure your success in this role. The ideal candidate will hold:
- Mechanical trade or equivalent (desirable)
- Prior experience working as a serviceperson on a mine site (highly regarded)
- Current RIISM212D or RIISM212E
- Demonstrated experience working in the mining and/or heavy earthmoving industry, or hydraulic excavator industry
- Current Standard 11 and advantage
- HR driver's licence preferable
- Working at Heights, EWP (High Risk), Forklift (High Risk), Confined Space and Franna ticket would be highly desirable.
- Even time (7/7) roster with 12hr days & Nights
- Fully funded flights available from Brisbane to Moranbah
- BIBO from Mackay & Moranbah
