Services Assistant

• Salary $1,061.50 - $1,072.60 per week (pro rata) - WHA2
• Ongoing Part Time (32 hours per week)

Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self motivated Services Assistant to join our dedicated Services team in providing a timely, efficient and effective catering and cleaning service for Wallaroo Hospital and Health Services.

Wallaroo is a seaside paradise just 2 hours from Adelaide on the west coast of the peninsula.  A favourite destination with sandy beaches perfect for swimming, great fishing off the jetty, abundance of sightseeing attractions and outdoor activities and with regional city conveniences supports a real work-life balance.

As a Services Assistant your duties may include the preparation, service and delivery of food to clients, and general housekeeping.  You may also be required to undertake laundry duties.

Eligibility

We are looking for someone with the ability to work well within a team environment with the ability to provide assistance and co-operation to other staff and meet deadlines and timeframes under general direction.  A flexible approach to work and rostering systems essential.

The successful applicant will have good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate to people from different cultures, backgrounds and circumstances, the ability to use discretion and maintain strict confidentiality and have effective written, verbal and numeracy skills.
