We are looking for a Trades assistant to join our team in our Wingfield workshop.
Truck & Car Brake Service is a market leader in the repairs of Heavy vehicle Brake, Clutch & Suspension components..
As a Trades assistant machine shop you will work alongside our Qualified Machinists supporting them in carrying out various tasks including Steam cleaning, assisting with removal and fitment of heavy vehicle brake drums, derivetting & relining brake shoes, assisting with machining of flywheels and general support in workshop duties
The person we are looking for does not require qualifications, as on the job training will be provided.
- You will need to have, mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to undertake all tasks as directed
- Ability to operate hand tools efficiently and safely
- Outstanding work ethic and be able to work in a team environment.
- Be physically fit
- Background as a machinist an advantage
- Forklift license an advantage
Candidates with mechanical experience working on cars & light commercial vehicles are also encouraged to apply
Salary negotiable dependent on experience.
