We are seeking a Services Officer to join our team on a temporary full-time basis up to 26 February 2025 with potential for extension. The role will be based at our Milson Island Sport and Recreation Centre.
We offer a competitive salary to the right candidate with salary range starting from $55,452 up to $63,524 per annum plus 11% superannuation and RDO once a month.

About the role
As a Service Officer, you will work within a team to deliver on the logistical requirements of a water access-only Centre, undertake reactive and proactive maintenance, repairs and upkeep of the centre grounds, buildings, and equipment to re-enforce the Centre’s focus on safety, and customer satisfaction. This role will support the Centre operations and work closely with Centre management and other work teams.

About you
- You will have the ability to conduct planned and reactive maintenance of the centre’s physical assets (Fields, grounds, buildings, equipment, pools, track and more) to ensure a high level of professionalism and service to our customers.
- A sense of pride in maintenance tasks is important in addition to a focus on working as a team to achieve tasks within deadlines.
- There is a wide variety of work possibilities onsite including providing support to other work groups in addition to specific training opportunities.
- You have a current Class C drivers’ licence.
