Now in it’s 24th year the Australian Security Academy is Australia’s leading Registered Training Organisation (RTO 30457) for the supply of employable talent to the professional support services of civil investigation defence claims (Private Investigators). 50% of the Loss Adjusting professional, development industry and 100% of compliant Loss Adjusting Diploma qualifications issued in that field since 2010. The Academy is 50% of the Mercantile Agent professional development industry. It is relied on by local, state, and federal government for management level Diploma and Advanced Diploma Qualifications in Workplace Inspection, Fraud Control and Investigations, qualifications. Each week two students will enrol, and one will graduate from the Academy who were not even born when it was established. The Academy has conducted over 500 in class face to face professional development events, and extensively utilises online training to make it affordable, available, and accessible to learners anywhere in Australia with an internet connection.
This opportunity at the Australian Security Academy is typical of what we do. You will be teaching and assisting the formalisation of certification for sophisticated experienced investigators.
Including employed, government regulatory compliance officers, ex police, ex-detectives, current lawyers, barristers, scientists, and associated WHS professionals.

It will suit instructors seeking consistent casual training design and delivery.
Must have:
Own ABN, 5 years industry experience in regulatory compliance enforcement, 5 years industry experience in teaching and assessing regulatory compliance enforcement.
Ability to design and deliver your own online 45 minute professional development sessions. No assessment or feedback required.
Although predominantly teaching online you will be also required to deliver in class in Brisbane and Townsville before the EOFY. In association with Australia’s leading instructors, you will be actively teaching in 3 x 4 day live professional development events.
Laptop, with reliable, stable internet connection and basic online delivery camera and microphone set up in a quiet distraction free home office.
Be available Friday afternoons to teach online live 12 x consecutive weeks.

Successful applicant must hold:
Demonstrable, viewable experience teaching online.
TAE40116 or 40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
PSP40416 - Certificate IV in Government Investigations
Essential - Contemporary demonstrated online training design and delivery with active learner / participant involvement skills.
Less essential no assessment, marking or feedback is anticipated in this role.
