Do you have a passion for education? The come join the team at genU! We are looking for Sessional Trainers to join our Training U For Work division!

At Training U For Work, we deliver valuable, job-ready and nationally recognised qualifications and vocational short courses! Our courses support learners to develop core skills to build knowledge & confidence to embark on further study and enter the workforce.

As a Sessional Trainer, your main accountabilities will include:

  • Deliver professional and engaging training
  • Sourcing & organising student work experience placements
  • Participate in the development of assessment strategies & tools
  • Conduct initial training reviews to determine individual needs of the clients
  • Maintain a quality service delivery that optimises stakeholder satisfaction; and more!

If you have vocational competency in Building & Construction, Warehouse, Hospitality, First Aid, Retail & Housekeeping we want to hear from you!

About You!

As a Sessional Trainer you are an exceptional individual with the skills and enthusiasm to provide our learners with an engaging and meaningful learning experience. Have you got what it takes?

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualifications in either of the following below, along with currency in any of the industries:
    • Building and Construction
    • Warehouse
    • Hospitality
    • First aid
    • Health Care
    • Retail
    • Housekeeping
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor or TAE40110
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus the following units: TAELLN411 (or its successor) or TAELLN401A, and TAEASS502 (or its successor) or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B or a diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education.
  • Current valid driver's licence and willingness to travel is required
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate
