About the Position
We currently have an opportunity for a part-time Settlements Officer to join our high energy, friendly and passionate Settlements/Operations Team at our Sydney CBD office.    This role is pivotal in ensuring Grow Finance continues to grow in the marketplace, identifying new opportunities, meeting and exceeding loan growth ambitions.
You will be responsible for:

• Ensure finance applications are prepared & submitted within set timeframes
• Ensure all settlements are compliant with credit policies, approval conditions & guidelines
• Liaising internally and externally with brokers and vendors to obtain additional information (e.g., supplier invoices or insurance) to complete settlement.   
• Ensure all legal documents are executed correctly & compliant with set policies & guidelines
• Ensure all settlements are prepared & submitted within set timelines
• Ensure PPSRs are correctly registered and removed at termination in a timely manner
• Proper management of legal document archiving and storing process
• Manage and prioritise settlement workflows within set timeframes
• Contribute to process improvement

What we are looking for:

• Experience in banking/ finance. Will consider if you have had a career break
• Minimum 1 years’ experience in Asset (or Vehicle) Finance or Business Loans or in Mortgage Lending Settlements in a Financial institution would be preferred.  Alternatively experience in a KYC/AML area would also be considered.     
• Have exceptional attention to detail and numeracy skills.   
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks to meet targets
• Intermediate to advanced capability of Microsoft Office Suite, CRM experience
• Training/supervision available
