Gateway Health is a community health service providing health and welfare services to individuals, families and communities across north east Victoria and parts of southern New south Wales. We are a not-for-profit Company limited by guarantee and a registered Community Health Service under the Health Services Act 1988 (Vic).

ABOUT THE ROLE
Since 2013, Clinic 35 has been operating as a sexual health clinic providing sexual health and blood borne virus care. In 2017, 11 public community-based women’s sexual and Reproductive Health hubs have been established in Victorian community health services. This has allowed Clinic 35 to expand the care provided to include a range of sexual and Reproductive Health services including contraception, medical termination of pregnancy, referral for surgical termination of pregnancy and sexual health testing and treatment.
As a nurse employed in our sexual and reproductive hub, it will be expected that you:
provide information to people about all forms of contraception and termination of pregnancy options
offer clinical services to people who choose long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) methods
offer clinical services to people who opt for medical termination of pregnancy
develop referral pathways for women who require surgical termination of pregnancy provide sexual health testing, treatment and support.
