Clark Metal Fabrication is a Sheet Metal and metal fabrication business based in Shearwater on the Northwest Coast of Tasmania.

The business is Tasmanian owned and over the last few years has experienced significant growth. Our expectation is that this growth will continue and as a result we have a position available for a: 

• Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator

We are looking for someone who:

• Is comfortable working in a workshop environment but is equally comfortable working outdoors or in a factory environment;
• Can work autonomously with minimal supervision; and above all
• Takes pride in their work.

Essential Criteria

• Trade qualified;
• Experienced in TIG and MIG welding;
• Experienced in stainless steel fabrication;
• An ability to read and understand plans and technical drawings;
• Sense of initiative along with analytical and problem solving skills;
• An inbuilt attention to detail;
• Good verbal and written communication skills; and
• A sound knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety requirements;

Desired Criteria

• Experience in stainless steel pipe welding;
• A current Forklift Licence;
• A First Aid Certificate;
• Experience in an operational or hands-on environment.
