Almec Pty Ltd is a family owned and operated manufacturing company centrally located in Auburn NSW providing a full sheet metal fabrication service to a wide range of industries.
We are currently seeking a Sheetmetal Machine Operator to join our growing team. While previous experience with CNC machines including turret punch and brake presses would be highly valued it is not essential. If you have a technical background and a can do attitude, then on the job training will be provided.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Setting and Operating CNC turret punch and brake press, with the occasional work on the guillotine and other sheet metal bending and cutting machines.
- Work to drawings and Standard Operating Procedures
- Quality Checks – Understand precision measuring equipment
- General housekeeping
Required Skills
- The capacity to read and follow standard operating procedures and Engineering drawings.
- Sound knowledge of OH&S and Environmental regulatory requirements.
- Must be punctual and reliable.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
