ABOUT THE ROLE
A position for a Sheetmetal/Welder to work in the manufacturing of custom made fittings is now available. INITIAL CONTRACT IN VIEW OF PERMANENT
SKILLS - EXPERIENCE - RESPONSIBILITIES
- Relevant trade qualification and work experience in Sheetmetal & Welding
- Sound knowledge of the use of hand tools, plant and equipment associated with fabrication of custom metal items and components.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural shop drawings
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work within time frames and meet deadlines.
- Liaise with Production Manager to ensure the accurate fabrication of items and components.
- Assist in preparing installation documentation for site.
- Quality control of all fabricated items out of the metal department.
- Adhere to and practice OH&S obligations and duties.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Reliability and punctuality in the role and workplace
- Team player, creative, professional.
