Shift Maintenance Electrician - C8

We are currently looking for a highly skilled, enthusiastic, and flexible Shift Maintenance Electrician to join our maintenance team at our milk manufacturing factory in Labrador on the Gold Coast. The purpose of this position is the provision of preventative and corrective electrical maintenance and troubleshooting programming/control faults as part of the factory’s maintenance team. The position will also be involved with electrical and system control projects.This role is a full time, permanent position that requires the ability to work a flexible shift roster and able to respond to calls outside business hours from time to time. This position will be part of a team of electricians and mechanical fitters, and may be required to assist with mechanical work from time to time.Why should you join the team at Norco? Current A Grade Electrical Licence. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently with minimal supervision. Demonstrated effective communication skills. Current Drivers Licence. Experience with Allen Bradley PLC and Citect SCADA based automation systems. Knowledge of ASI communication, E&H instrumentation and Vision systems. Mechanical aptitude. RSLogix programming software experience and Powerflex VSD knowledge. Ability to work shift work and overtime. Desirable skills and experience include: Knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems. Understanding of food manufacturing processes and hygiene requirements.
