What is the role?
The Shift Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining the high standards and operational efficiency of our venue, ensuring both staff and guests have a positive and enjoyable experience. The key responsibilities are:
- Oversee daily operations during your shift, ensuring smooth and efficient service throughout the venue.
- Monitor staff scheduling to maintain adequate shift coverage
- Utilise bar skills to assist in beverage preparation and ensure quality and consistency in all drinks served.
- Supervise floor sections, ensuring excellent service and attention to detail in all areas.
- Provide training and motivate a team of staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Provide exceptional service to our guests, handling any issues or inquiries promptly and professionally
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a medium to high volume venue.
Who are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry is essential.
- Strong bar and floor section management skills.
- Barista experience and strong knowledge of coffee
- Experience with inventory management is desirable.
- Unrestricted availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage a busy venue.
- A passion for providing outstanding customer service.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate is essential.
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is preferred.
