Form of workThe Casino Food Co-op is a leading export food processor with production facilities at Casino and Booyong, near Lismore, in the Northern Rivers area of the NSW Far North Coast.
The Co-op has a great opportunity for 2 x motivated and hardworking individuals to join the Shipping team at our Casino plant on a permanent, full-time basis. Reporting to the Shipping Manager, the successful candidates will aid our shipping department in fulfilling the logistics and documentation for both domestic and international orders.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role will include:
- Provide an excellent level of customer service at all times when speaking with clients
- Develop a continued relationship with customers and operators
- Create domestic shipping documentation ensuring accuracy and validity of documents
- Strong communication with transport companies and Cold Store personnel
- Ensure the accuracy of shipping records is maintained
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, skills and abilities:
- Previous experience in an administrative setting would be well regarded, but not essential for the role
- Thoroughness and a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication, time management and organisation skills
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast paced work environment
- Commitment to complying with The Co-op’s policies and procedures, and relevant legislative requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
