About the Opportunity:
Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a Shipping Coordinator to join our fast paced and friendly team. This pivotal role will support all the TTI brands and key internal and external stakeholders across the business focusing on .
Reporting directly to the Shipping Supervisor your day-to-day duties will include:
Manage multiple freight forwarders and stakeholders.
Support the budget and management reporting requirements.
Monitor and maintain all import shipments and deliveries.
Prioritise and support scheduling of all container deliveries into our Warehouses.
Liaise with Suppliers, Supply Planners and Freight Forwarders to obtain documents.
Inbound management for all shipments sent to TTI Australia and New Zealand warehouses.
Working closely with Demand & Supply Planning to ensure that issues such as shipping delays, customs constraints are highlighted and communicated.
Coordinate with Warehouses and Freight Forwarder regarding all prioritising and delivery of shipments.
Approve stock/supplier invoices for Accounts Payable to process.
Monitor and collate issues regarding damaged stock/short shipments and liaise with Supply Planners and Suppliers
Check and approve all freight and carrier’s invoices and perform freight auditing.
Be the key contact for internal and external stakeholder’s enquiries
Maintain the continuity of supply to support the purchasing plan.
Drive the supply improvement process and modify work practices as required.
About YOU
To be successful in this dynamic, varied and challenging role you will ideally have a background in a similar shipping, import/export, inventory or supply chain role and the following skills/attributes:
Strong analytical mindset
Good internal and external stakeholder management skills
Excellent Attention to Detail
Team Player and excellent communication skills
Able to work towards set deadlines and use initiative
Prior experience in using SAP is advantageous
Strong Excel experience is required
