Shipwright / Boat Builder

Buckingham Marine Services is a reputable and dynamic marine repair company working out of Woolwich Dock Yard in Sydney. 
 

We are a growing company looking at hiring a new experienced Shipwright / Boat Builder.

Key Duties will include:

• Structural and cosmetic fibreglass and gelcoat repairs
• Managing and teaching apprentices 
• Timber structural and cosmetic repairs
• 2 pack resprays and paint repairs
• Minor 12v part replacements
• Removal of shafts and rudders
• Water leak identification
• Through hull fitting installation and replacements
• Refits and rebuilds

The successful applicant will need to 

• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism
• Be dynamic, focused and hard-working
• Have experience as a Shipwright / Boat Builder
• Have a car and a boat licence (or willing to Obtain)
• Have their own tools ( or willing to obtain)
• Able to show safe work practices
• Be punctual and keep good documentation of jobs done
