We are seeking an experienced and professional Project Manager with a passion for Capital works and Community projects.

In this role you will have the following accountabilities:

• Assist with the development of environmentally and economically sustainable projects.
• Work with the Project and Assets teams to ensure delivery of capital projects.
• Manage the initiation, planning, design, execution and close out of multiple capital works projects.

This role has huge scope to work on some exciting capital work projects/community projects and be able to make your mark within the industry.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will have tertiary qualifications in civil engineering along with a comprehensive knowledge and experience in delivery of capital works. You will also need to demonstrate, high level expertise in the areas of contract documentation, quality assurance and competitive tendering.

We are looking for the following:

• High performing individual who can manage projects proactively with minimum supervision - A problem solver!
• Significant experience in delivery of recreational and community projects including sporting facilities, buildings and other infrastructure for local government.
• The ability to engage with stakeholders and manage consultation process, internal and external reporting, whilst overseeing the full cycle project delivery from concept development to construction
• The ability to proactively liaise with government agencies, service authorities, consultants, contractors and reporting to Shire executive team/elected members.
