About the role:We are seeking motivated and energetic Casual
Shop Assistants to join our Anglicare Op Shop team at our Op Shop in
Bondi Beach. You will be working with a team of
Shop Assistants who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of people in the community and providing excellent customer service to our customers. You will have a passion for flare and enjoy unique products where the emphasis is on recycling, reusing and reloving beautiful preloved items.Key responsibilities (not limited to):
- Provide excellent customer service and a holistic experience to customers
- Provide leadership to Volunteers and be a role model to engender an environment where Anglicare's mission and vision are embraced.
- Ensure Volunteers are supported and foster strong teamwork
- Ensure shop money is always secure and a safe workplace is maintained
About you:- Previous experience in a retail environment (desirable)
- Valid paid Working with Children's Check (WWC)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to relate to a diverse customer group with compassion and kindness
- Excellent customer service and retail experience in a fast-paced environment
- Well-developed numeracy skills
- Covid - 19 vaccination is strongly recommended
