Our client has manufactured Australian-made slatwall, retail gondola shelving and glass showcase display cabinets since 1987, and their display systems are trusted by many of the largest brands and shop fitters in Australia.

What is in it for you:
• Hourly Rate: $35+per hour
• Working Hours: 8-hour shifts, 6 hours on Fridays (07:30 AM - 04:00 PM), including a 30-minute lunch break.
• Starting ASAP – temp to perm role.
• Ongoing work with overtime
Your duties and responsibilities:
• Assemble panels according to specifications, maintaining structural integrity and strength.
• Reviewing drawings and choosing appropriate materials, such as the correct type of timber, veneer or synthetic board
• Using computer-aided design programs to perform calculations and refine drawings
• Assembling cabinets and furniture from shaped components
• Making cabinetry and furniture pieces according to specifications, including hinges, locks and handles
• Drilling, machining and milling
Essential Requirements:
• Previous experience in edge banding and panel assembly is preferred.
• Physical strength and endurance to handle heavy panels, often requiring teamwork.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently to meet production deadlines.
• Attention to detail to ensure flawless edge banding and panel assembly.
• Handy and skilled in using tools and equipment relevant to the job.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and following established protocols.
