Sterling Crane has an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Edmonton team as a permanent hourly Shop Labourer. Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, the Shop Labourer is responsible for completing miscellaneous tasks that contribute to a clean and safe shop operating environment. The successful candidate will prioritize safety, is organized, understands how to prioritize tasks, and has a high attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cleaning Shop and equipment spaces to meet safe working and operating standards.
- Follow instructions from Shop Supervisor to perform manual labor tasks as required.
- Report issues with unsafe shop conditions and assist with establishing a safety-oriented shop environment.
- Assist with shipping and receiving as needed to parts delivery and pick up.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma is considered an asset.
- Class 5 driver's license with clean driver's abstract.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds etc.)
- Willing to work in outside and inside environments in various weather conditions.
- Good attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.
