About the Role
The key focus of the Shopper Marketing Manager is to lead the overall management and execution of an insight-driven Shopper Marketing program delivering premium shopper experience and drive conversion across Australia and New Zealand market indirect websites.
Main responsibilities include but not limited to:-
Build and own 12-month Shopper Marketing calendar for each online indirect channel and category based on sales target/budget, NPD, promo plan, brand activities and retailer events/calendar.
Ensure cohesion with Shopper Marketing Manager offline, work together on key visuals and synchronised calendars to avoid duplicated efforts
Plan and manage annual budget based on the activity calendar supported by detailed execution plan with clear KPI
Manage project budgets, forecast accurately, own monthly reconciliation per channel and category for Finance review
Design brief and conduct shopper research for the online space using metrics and tools available to gain shopper insights, identify barriers to purchase and analyse competitor activities to maximise campaign relevance and effectiveness for target shopper segments. With a goal of increasing conversion
Lead debriefing session for owned agenda to share key findings for stakeholders to optimise business plans
Manage overall launches and campaign activations ensuring all content is live, relevant, and flowing seamlessly through to our customer channels and Dyson product landing pages
Own asset development and delivery process for NPD launches, campaigns and any promotional activities making sure our assets are following brand guideline, working closely with ANZ Creative Hub, Category and APAC Regional/Group team
Partner with retailers to drive a seamless online experience and implement digital 'brilliant basics' and perform gap analysis against online journeys/e-comm funnel. Scorecard reporting & action plan setting
Set up clear KPI to measure performance of each activation and validate/improve campaign effectiveness
Lead weekly reporting process to share activation results and make adjustment to the plan to improve ROI
Develop and manage digital marketing archive for assets, activations, and data to track performance per channel
Work with Group and CoE for best practice for our sites locally and conduct audits where necessary to continually optimise performance, SEO and SEM activities
Be the project lead for indirect online in the development and execution of campaigns, engaging key stakeholders in the business and managing alignment/approval process. Work with Shopper Marketing Offline and Retail Lead to ensure the best outcome for our campaigns and high performance as a team
Develop strong partnerships with account managers to make sure required information and plans are shared on time, lead discussion to improve efficiency in costs and accelerate the indirect retailers' .com transformation
About you
To be successful in this role you will have strong project management skills backboned with time and cost management as well as people liaison skills. You are a broad thinker, analytical and open minded who has the ability to use market analysis to identify high potential opportunities and transmit them to executional plans. You are a team-player with proven ability to work cross-functionally at all levels within an organisation, bringing collaborative, positive and an energetic atmosphere to Retail and other teams.
Previous skills & experience:-
Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
Solid experience in Shopper Marketing or Trade Marketing
Experienced in Digital marketing/eCommerce preferably within an international consumer goods/ FMCG company
