Shoring & Propping Labourer

Our client specialises in helping civil contractors deliver their projects efficiently and safely by providing expert advice and innovative products, primarily in the shoring, propping, and traffic space. Currently, they are seeking persons for civil installation work, throughout several sites in Brisbane and surrounds.

The Role:

• Installing and marking out propping equipment.


• Carrying and placing props and sleepers.


• Setting out the horizontal framework systems.


• Drill holes into the concrete slab and install concrete anchors.


• Structural steel rigging, bolting, and building.


• Working with the team to complete all tasks and duties.


• Any other manual labouring duties.

The benefits:

• $37.44 p/h Day shift (inclusive of casual loading)


• Penalties, travel, and meal allowances - where applicable


• 8 - 10 hours per shift, flexible hours.

What we need from you:

• Reliable Transport and driver's license - Essential


• White Card - Essential


• Similar fields of experience - Scaffolding, Steel Fixing or Structural steel rigging - highly desirable


• Ability to pass a D & A medical.


• Physically fit for labour-intensive tasks


• Can-do and positive attitude


• Adaptable personality and a drive to be part of a team.


• EWP, Rigger/Dogman tickets - highly desirable

Please note, that this is a casual position, with full-time hours and ongoing work. We are seeking candidates who have full/unlimited working rights in Australia.
