We are seeking experienced individuals for the position of Short Order Grill Cook/Chef to complement our highly successful team at our bp Townsville Truckstop.
Ideally you will have multiple years of commercial cooking experience, but also must be able to work well within a team to ensure a high quality of food is delivered to our customers.
Your responsibilities as a Short Order Grill Cook/Chef will include, but not be limited to:
- Following company set procedures including recipe cards & display planograms.
- Prepping food when required with haste.
- General kitchen cleaning & hygiene compliance (including dishwashing).
- Maintaining hot food display presentation.
- Maintaining cold food display presentation.
- Following portion control procedures.
- Compliance with all HSSE requirements
- Hands on customer service when required.
- Operating a POS system and cash handling when required.
- Standard restaurant operations.
- Coffee making when required.
Even though this role is kitchen based, there is times throughout the day when counter service may be required. Training Provided.
