We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Shotcrete Nozzleman to contribute to ongoing and various ground engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of shotcrete application techniques and possess the ability to operate shotcrete equipment efficiently and safely. The Shotcrete Nozzleman will play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity and durability of various concrete structures.
- Operate shotcrete equipment including shotcrete pumps, hoses, and nozzles.
- Prepare surfaces for shotcrete application by cleaning, prepping, and applying bonding agents as necessary.
- Monitor concrete mix consistency and adjust as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Control the flow and trajectory of shotcrete to achieve desired thickness and surface finish.
- Collaborate with construction crews to coordinate shotcrete application with other project activities.
- Perform routine maintenance on shotcrete equipment to ensure functionality and prevent downtime.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Proven experience as a Shotcrete Nozzleman or similar role in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of shotcrete application techniques and equipment operation.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing safety.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Certification or training in shotcrete application techniques (preferred)
- Experience working on ground engineering or slope stability projects (preferred)
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
