Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Showroom Manager to lead our team in Parramatta. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and team management, with a keen eye for design. You will be responsible for overseeing the showroom operations, driving sales, managing a team of sales associates, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of showroom sales associates.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed showroom targets.
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment to drive team performance.
Sales and Customer Service:
- Assist customers in the showroom, providing expert product information and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to drive repeat business.
- Achieve and exceed personal and team sales targets and KPIs.
Product Knowledge:
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our product range and stay updated on new arrivals and trends.
- Provide detailed product demonstrations and explain features and benefits to customers.
Operational and Administrative Duties:
- Manage customer inquiries and orders through phone calls and emails.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior sales role with team management responsibilities, preferably within the bathware or home improvement industry.
- Bathware experience is essential.
- Strong leadership and customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work 5 days a week, including 1 day every weekend.
