You will be supported by a passionate and supportive Management Team that expects excellence but also has fun. You will report directly to the Store Manager.
The Role
Oversee store opening and closing procedures, ensure the store is ready for trade daily.
Ensuring all staff adhere to company standards of behavior and presentation.
Knowledge and training of best-in-class sales practices
Build and maintain a cohesive team environment.
Assist in the Recruitment of quality staff members.
Ensure all staff attend product and sales training events to have the best knowledge base in the industry.
Conduct formal performance reviews with each staff member.
Growing team capabilities both, individually and collectively
Motivate the team to excellence.
Helping staff meet individual sales goals through training and coaching.
Ensure the Showroom is clean, tidy providing a luxury appearance.
Any promotional POS or instore displays used and as per company standards.
Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic work environment at all times in compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping.
Ensure that Sales recorded accurately using POS system.
Warranty and returns processed as per company standard operating procedures.
Ensure Goods receipts in store are processed accurately.
Ensure that customers are given treatment in line with the company luxury brand and maximize customer satisfaction.
Ensure customer details retained accurately.
Ensure customer followed up on regular basis as per company standards.
Runs effective customer and industry events to promote the showroom and brand.
Identify any slow-moving stock and reports back to HO for clearance strategy.
Ensure inventory levels on hand are accurate and suitable to maximize sales.
Run rolling stock takes through the store as required.
Support the store manager to Manage full stock take of store once a year.
Other duties as directed by Management.
The Person we are Looking For
3+ years of retail experience gained selling high ticket items.
Experience using Microsoft Office Products.
Must have experience using POS, knowledge of ERP is highly desirable.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sale targets in a high end or luxury environment
Able to demonstrate a proven history of successfully managing employees, including training, mentoring and nurturing a team in a retail environment to grow and achieve sales targets is desired.
Proven sound commercial acumen.
Strong understanding of sales and customer service techniques
Demonstrated ability to maintain and work within a budget.
Able to work Saturday’s.
