What we are looking for:
An incredibly energetic and motivated Sales Consultant who has a flair for colour & design.
You will ideally have a qualification in Interior Design or an extensive background working with tiles in a showroom area, or in a similar role within the building industry.
You are equally comfortable dealing with tilers and tradespeople as well as property developers, architects, interior designers, DIY and builders.
You are a team player and have a “can do/will do disposition” As will you have a strong work ethic and be career driven.
The role:
Your prime focus is assisting our customers in our beautiful showrooms and identifying new business opportunities ideally from your extensive “network” of contacts in the architectural, interior designer field to ensure every sales opportunity is identified and converted. Our products are well known and respected for quality, range and application. Your charisma and service orientation will be the key elements to your success. You will have a strong understanding of how to use computer based software.
You will report directly to our Showroom Team Leader and our Management Team will there every step of the way to support you
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, prioritize a diverse workload and achieve objectives.
- Strong Initiative and Time Management skills
- Excellent communication and networking skills
- Ability to work without supervision within a mid size team environment
- Sound research skills and ability to find answers
- Commitment to quality customer service principles
- Pride in your work standards and personal appearance
- A proven track record in the ability to achieve targets
- Excellent computer skills
- Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Must be able to work Saturdays with an RDO during the week.
Desirable:
- Interior design or Architectural qualification
- First aid certificate
- Drivers License
- A solid 2-3 years experience dealing directly with architects/interior designers/builders/owner builders or
- New graduate in the Interior Design field
