Who will you be working with? This role will be reporting to the Director of Engineering.
Where is the position located? This is full time position at our office in Perth CBD (Esplande)
Responsibilities -
- Prepare schedules for preliminary and detailed designs of signaling systems that comply with statutory and regulatory requirements;
- Monitor progress and initiate remedial action required to ensure signaling projects are completed on time and within budget;
- Supervise preparation of documentation for standards and specifications in relation to signaling systems;
- Act as independent checker verifying signaling designs and application data prepared by others;
- Act as a Team Leader to support complex signaling design projects Australia wide;
- Participate in factory acceptance testing and/or site testing of signaling systems and equipment;
- Work closely with Engineering Staff, the PMO and Project Management across Wabtec Offices;
Qualifications and Skills -
- Degree qualified in Engineering or Equivalent;
- Substantial experience working as a Senior Signal Design Engineer;
- Expert user of Microsoft Office in particular Word and Excel;
- Experience with design software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation.
- Rail Provider certificate/statement of competencies are mandatory
- IRSE and ARTC Accreditation;
