About our client
Whitehaven Coal is Australia's largest independent coal producer and the leading coal producer in Northwest New South Wales.
About the role
We are seeking Single and Multi Skilled Operators with proven mining experience to join our production crew at a local Open Cut coal mine in the Gunnedah Basin.
What you will be doing:
You will be operating one or more of the following machines:
• CAT 789s, Hitachi EH3500, & EH5000 Trucks
• Watercarts CAT 777D, 773E
• D10, D11, 475, Wheel Dozer 854 Dozers
• 16M & 24M Graders
• CAT 992, KOM WA1200 Wheel Loaders
• Hitachi EX3600, EX5600 & EX8000 Excavators
What you will need:
• 12 months production mining experience operating both Mechanical or Electric Dump Trucks (minimum)
• Verification of Competencies to validate previous operating experience (minimum)
• Australian Driver's Licence
• Right to Work in Australia
Benefits:
Single Skilled Operators $53.60 per hour
Multi-Skilled Operators $57.10 per hour
Excavator Operators $57.10 per hour
Hourly allowances paid in addition to your rate:
• Allowance 1 = $5 per hour paid weekly
• Allowance 2 = $5 per hour paid quarterly
• Excavator Operators receive an additional $5 per hour allowance paid weekly
